A Day of Inspiration and Admiration…

A couple weeks ago Jennifer and I had the privilege of shooting yet another event for the incomparable Michael J Fox Foundation. This time is was a golf tournament, and our 10th shoot for these devoted soldiers in the war on ending Parkinsons. Every event we get called into cover reminds us a little more that we are blessed and we need to be active and always fight for the things we believe in.
The setting was one of the Hamptons’ most exclusive golf clubs and the perfect location for this fundraising event, which I was told brought in over $600,000 to the Michael J Fox Parkinsons Foundation.

Starting of the event day was the arrival of Sam Fox (Not Michael’s Son Sam Fox) a Foundation employee who ran, (yes I said RAN) from Manhattan to Southampton for the event. The media was there as was Michael and the entire crew of the foundation. He ran 80 miles the day before the arrival, and 20 the morning of. Talk about inspirational… wow.

Sam is wearing the white sunglasses, and that’s his “support crew” He raised over $5700 in his efforts to run 100 miles in 24 hours. If you wish to contribute his sponsorship is still open and you can donate by clicking here and going to Sam’s Team Fox Page to donate.
