Antiques by the River

Tawnia and Chris tied the knot last month with an extremely emotional ceremony at the Riverhouse in Haddam, CT. We had a perfect opportunity for some outside portraits as the weather held off it’s impending rain for us. Tawnia and Chris at the Riverhouse

Tawnia and Chris opted to see each other before the ceremony for a portrait shoot, so we took full advantage of the time by driving down the road a little bit to Goodspeed Station for some vintage Americana as a background. With a very cooperative wedding party we were able to cover a lot of ground in a little time. Great thanks to Naomi and Angela for making my job easy with their expertise in hair and makeup. Great work, as usual; to Jane and crew from Just For You Florals for the gorgeous colors we got to play with. Flawless efforts by the Riverhouse staff for a smooth flowing, (and delicious) dinner. (I guess, thanks to the bartenders for their hard work. My cranberry and water was perfect) Marcin from Digital Ink captured some priceless moments on video. And Lou from Ferraro Events got the dance floor packed all night. A little too packed at times! Congratulations Tawnia and Chris!

Jaw-dropping! One of the most gorgeous weddings I have seen… and you equally captured it in these amazing photos!

This wedding is just gorgeous. I especially love all the guys and girls portraits out on the train tracks. Really great job!

It was the most elegant wedding I have ever been to. I really enjoyed the whole wedding. Tawnia and Chris, it was worth traveling so far.
