Well, it’s a family, but not of humans. I thought this was awesome.
I took this at the TPC River Highlands Golf Course in Cromwell, today.

I haven’t a clue who these women are. For all I know the one in front could be my great grandma? This must be circa 1952. I used my new HP 4890 Scanner to scan this negative from my father’s archives.

*** Update ***
I was able to find out that this was my mother’s grandmother. My great-grandmother. The girl in the back was one of my Mom’s distant cousins. She was VERY upset when my “peasant” mother was able to leave Madeira and move to the more affluent United States, and not her. Don’t know if the photographer was my father or not, but I think so.
I’ve put together a wedding information website. It’s pretty busy around here these days, so don’t be too disappointed with it’s layout. There wasn’t a lot of time. I’ve put our photos from Apryl’s session online, and we are doing another one with Bob that I plan on putting up…

It’s easier to be behind the camera than in front of it that’s for sure. Here are some pictures that my niece took of Jen & I at the carnival the other day. I have to say, she did a great job. Of course, I couldn’t keep my hands off the photos. I had to stylize them a bit… Great job Ape!
Today we ventured out to Liz’s house, in the sticks of CT…
Every year she has a multifamily outing/dinner. This year we got to visit the new additions to the family. Some baby goats. Here are some pictures of Jen & Liana holding two of the babies…
Here is also a shot of the “Turkey”. I say it in quotes, because it was a Turkey stuffed with a stuffed duck and a stuffed quail.  That’s a lot of meat!
Best wishes for the New Year to all! !
