Custom Baby Letters for Leighton's Room

Today I hung Leighton’s name in letters on her wall.    We had these custom made to match her bedroom set and theme.  Her theme is a set by Kids Line which you can see by clicking here.

We wanted to get them painted in the same color tones as her set, so that was our expectation; but then Jen’s mom went and blew us away with custom stenciling the actual characters in her set.  She had the paint color matched to the fabric and hand painted each of these.   We absolutely LOVE them!  They are by far the coolest we’ve seen anywhere.   We told her she should do these for people as a side project and she said she totally would!  So if you want them send me a message, or comment, or email and I’ll give you her info.

Anyway here they all are scattered on our kitchen table.

Now the hard part.   To get these guys lined up… I first made a paper template of each letter, and marked where the screw holes are on the letters.

Then I taped them up in like 30 different designs.   (the standard arch)

Here is the massive amount of screws that I had to put in the wall to secure them… It’s not that bad, but there are 2 per letter, so it took a little time.  That’s going to be a lot of holes to fill if we take them down!

Here’s the finished product!  We LOVE Them!

You did an awsome job hanging all of those letters Jerry. That could not have been easy to line them all up the way you did. So pretty in her room and she is so beautiful in her pictures. Love it!!!!!!!!
