The perfect cup of coffee…

Sorry Starbucks… You have a special place in my heart, no doubt.  Both Jen and I have the Starbucks Gold Cards to prove it. Today, however; I’m enjoying the perfect cup.  I’ve recently seen few fellow photographers’ blogs posting about their coffee preferences what matters most to them.   When we aren’t at Starbucks, we rely pretty heavily on our Tassimo brewer.  Yesterday reminded me how cool it was to have this.  We hosted a party at our house and for about 12 different people, we brewed 12 different drinks.   Some decaf, some half mocha, some lattes, some espresso… etc.  About a year ago we received Our Braun Tassimo coffee maker from Cristina and Pat as a gift.  (We thank you guys every day!)  😉  I just wanted to say what huge fans we are of it.

The super talented Robert J. Trenske just posted a feature on his blog about his Keurig machine, which is not doubt another awesome option.  I think the same principles apply to our Tassimo about the cost per cup, etc.  Every day the coffee is perfect and exactly as the day before… (More than I can say for Dunkin Donuts) lol

I also thought that in raving about our coffee maker, I should point out to Carla that my cup is better than yours!

The ultra-famous Carla Ten Eyck recently blogged about her cup here… Actually I think they are the same and both of ours were gifts from our close friend Jacob Bergmeier.  He got the cups from a close friend of his who makes these gorgeous ceremics.  Check out his website here with all his amazing work

In any case if you are looking for a simple solution for awesome coffee, these pod coffee makers are definitely worth every penny.   As long as they don’t open a Starbucks near our house… this will still be my favorite coffee!  (Of course I use Starbuck’s pods in my Tassimo)

I was just telling my husband I want one of these coffee makers. I almost had one of those mugs until someone cold heartedly took it, lol. Thanks for sharing. 🙂

It’s the gift that keeps on giving! 🙂

We are so glad you’re still enjoying it. We’ve had ours for over 3 years and we still love it and use it all the time.

Hey Jerome, thanks for the shoutout. I have to say it is amazing that something is little as this can make us all this happy and excited. We love our coffee and simply stated these single cup coffee makers rock. The only downside may be that we drink too much coffee, it that is possible :).

coffee junkies unite! I have been boycotting Dunkin Donuts for a few months now. The inconsistency is not my cup of tea…ha ha….But I need to learn how to order at Starbucks. What is comparitive to a hazelnut light and sweet?

that machine is so cool though. Still working my Mr. Coffee into the ground 🙂

no WAY, Braga! My cup is WAY better than yours

and Robin I am sad to say there is no translation from Hazelnut light and sweet at Starbucks. Try burnt and overpriced?

Don’t hate! It’s true!
